I agree Nate those two items are very important; core values, and dreams or things we think we want to live in this community. And as Jenn said in her comment above, let's make sure we clarify what is a value and what is a dream/idea when we write in here. We can do that together as well but it is easier if each one of us already did that distinction in our own mind when we talk about it. Make sure to go to the point and not make it a testament, but feel free to elaborate if you want but keep it brief. We will discuss all those ideas these upcoming three Thursdays, August 31st, Sept 14 and Sept 28. I think that by mid/end of October we should have our Covenant mostly completed. Lets continue to pray and think about this and work on posting our ideas on this blog guys. Feel free to invite other people as well to each Thursday but make sure to clarify what our objective is so they don't get too lost when they hear our conversations about moving into a new home and neighborhood. Love you all and I'm glad to see you guys posting. Keep it up.

Peace. Ian.

Hi, Gosh I like this form of communicating. I like yall in person even more though. Yes, Nate that sounds right on to me. I love that each week we have new discussions and passions to bring to the table, but much of the time they are the same ideas we have expressed before, just different words. How do we begin doing this, writing this manifesto per say? What does per say mean anyway? Is that even a place where you can say that? I think seperating is good. Here is why....because out dreams about ideas could be about the house and details as where our values and beliefs are a way of life. I dont know if that makes sense, I'm real bad at writing. Anyway, I will begin thinking and praying about this often. Thanks for your input Nate.
